Getting from Salisbury Train Station to Stonehenge

If you've just stepped off the train at Salisbury and you're heading to Stonehenge, you're in the right place. Here's exactly what to do.

Step 1: Exit the Station

Salisbury Train Station has a single main exit that leads onto South Western Road. Walk through the ticket barriers and follow signs to the main exit you'll emerge onto a pavement facing the road.

Step 2: Cross at the Zebra Crossing

Directly in front of you is a zebra crossing. Cross here and you'll immediately be on the opposite side of South Western Road.

Step 3: Arrive at Caboose

Caboose is directly in front of you at 115 South Western Road a two-minute walk from the platform. This is the departure point for the Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle. Come in, drop your bags (they'll be stored free for the day), and board the shuttle at your chosen departure time.

What If I Haven't Booked Yet?

You can book on the spot if places are still available right up to 30 minutes before departure. However, departures sell out, especially in peak season. We recommend booking in advance at salisburytostonehenge.co.uk to guarantee your seat.

Departure Times from Salisbury

The shuttle runs at 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15 and 15:15 daily. The journey to Stonehenge takes 35 minutes. Your £15 return fare includes everything luggage storage and your return pick-up from Stonehenge.
